Junior Payroll Specialist
- Execute end-to-end monthly payroll for employees with accuracy.
- Ensure timely computation and disbursement of salaries.
- Handle final settlements (F&F).
- Maintaining confidentiality of payroll data.
- Manage PF, ESI, PT, TDS, LWF, TCS and other statutory compliance.
- Ensure payroll operations align with internal policies and legal regulations.
- Address employee queries related to salary, deductions, and payroll discrepancies through service now ticketing system.
- Manage onboarding and offboarding formalities.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance departments for smooth payroll operations.
- Ensure compliance with audit requirements with respect to payroll.
- Handle daily bank transactions and reconciliations
- Post journal entries & general ledger review
- Collaborate with senior accountants and finance teams
- Support team in month-end and year-end closing activities
- Provide support during internal/external audits
- Familiarity with basic financial compliance such as TDS, GST, advance tax payments etc.
- Should hold a bachelor’s degree in commerce, Finance, HR, or related field.
- Working knowledge in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table etc.,)
- Good communication, coordination skills and ability to work in a team
- Familiarity with payroll software like GreytHR & accounting tool like Net Suite
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changes
